The Taj Mahal (Symbol of Love)

Agra is most famous for its architectural creations by Mughal emperors among which the Taj Mahal is the most beautiful.

Taj Mahal is included in one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Tourists from different parts of the world come to visit this wonder and they admire its artistic splendor. If anyone gets opportunity to see the Taj Mahal in a moonlit nights he will simply sink in its magnificent beauty and his language will fail to describe it. The reflected Taj Mahal in the river Jamuna in bright moonbeam and the effect of silvery light on this white marble tomb carry the viewers to a world of dram.

The Mughal emperor Sahajahan built this splendid Taj Mahal in memory of his most beloved and beautiful wife, Mumtaj Begum. Historians say that twenty thousand workers built this magnificent building by working day and night for long eighteen years.

The bodies of the two eternal lovers, Shah Jahan and Mumtaj Begum are laid inside the white marble tomb and it is really a great symbol of infinite love that is eternal.
