#MeToo : Tata Sons Ends Contract With Suhel Seth After Being Called Out
Brand Consultant Suhel Seth’s who has been called out in the #MeToo movement by six women on Twitter -filmmaker and entrepreneur Natashja Rathore, journalist Mandakini Gahlot, writer Ishita Yadav, model Diandra Soares, writer Ira Trivedi and an anonymous narrative, will no longer be working with the Tata group.
Seth’s contract with the Tatas ends on 30 November but sources said to NDTV that the company decided to prematurely end the contract with Suhel Seth’s firm Counselage with a month’s notice. The company had, however stopped working with Counselage since the allegations came up.
Seth played a key role in rebuilding the Tata brand after crisis hit one of the most trusted corporate brands in India in the wake of abrupt sacking of then Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry in 2016.
Filmmaker and entrepreneur Natashja Rathore took to Twitter on 10 October, 2018 to share screenshots of a message she reportedly sent Seth; in the message she details unwelcome sexual advances allegedly made by Seth towards her.
Part 1: I am not doing this for publicity. I am not doing this for Money. I am not doing this to malign a person. I am doing this solely to empower other women to directly confront the perpetrator. It’s hard – But it’s about time. This is my #MeToo message to Suhel Seth. pic.twitter.com/h1Z4VCBoq7

Writer Ishita Yadav also put out tweets of her experience of Seth messaging her back in 2009.
Journalist Mandakini Gahlot told about an incident in August 2011 at a conference in Goa when Seth forced a kiss on her mouth.
I am not at all surprised that Suhel Seth's name has come up in the #MeToo conversation. For years he has preyed on young women, and the whisper network was ripe with stories of his depravity. I was 26 when he publicly harassed and humiliated me. No one stopped him. @MasalaBai

A fifth woman, Jasmine Divekar, has also accused Seth of groping her at a get-together in Mumbai, in January 2017.
Seth has yet haven’t given any statement.
